At Least 50 People Murdered, 200 Injured in Vegas, Shooter ID’d

Shots started pouring down on concert goers who were watching a performance by Jason Aldean during the last night of the Route 91 country music festival at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Everyone in the venue froze when the first rounds started being fired, which sources say were coming from automatic or semi-automatic weapons. Chaos and panic immediately erupted throughout the venue. There is believed to have been one shooter and he has reportedly been killed.

According to multiple sources, several attendees and country stars, including Jason Aldean, have since confirmed their safety as we wait to hear an exact number of casualties.

UPDATE: According to FOX News, the suspect, who was killed, was identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, a local resident. Authorities also said they were “confident” Paddock’s roommate, Marilou Danley, had been located. Officials previously described Danley as a person of interest.

Las Vegas Sherrif Joseph Lombardo held a press conference to shine light on the whole situation.


Sheriff Lombardo confirmed there are 20-plus people dead and over 100 people injured.
UPDATE: That number has gone up to at least 50 people and 200 injured in the deadliest mass shooting in modern United States history. (Per FOX News)

The one shooter who was killed is believed to be a Las Vegas local. Lombardo denies reports of multiple shooters and explosions, saying they were not accurate.
