DirecTV’s Latest Move Spells BAD News for NFL Ratings

DirecTV made a big announcement as a result of the current uproar over NFL player protests. They are offering full refunds to Sunday Ticket consumers who are so upset about anthem protests that they wish to cancel their subscription as part of a nation-wide boycott of the NFL. The package normally costs $280 to watch virtually any game that is taking place for the entire season.

AT&T, who owns DirecTV, told ESPN they made the rare move “due to the sensitivity of the issue.” As of right now, AT&T said they do not plan to disclose how many customers cancel their NFL Sunday Ticket subscriptions, according to ESPN’s report.

This is bad news for the NFL as they are trying to calm the storm that’s plagued the league as a result of more than 200 players taking knees during the National Anthem or completely boycotting the National Anthem by staying in the locker room during Week 3. President Donald J. Trump made several players upset when he spoke what millions of Americans are likely thinking, which is players who do not respect America’s national flag and song should be removed.

The NFL gets what it gives! Men and women and dogs gave their lives so these idiots can complain!! They are OVERPAID,SELF ENTITLED,ARROGANT,DISRESPECTFUL,
and NOT DESERVING to walk on the same ground that our military does or has been on!!! They should be bowing down to kiss the feet of the men and women that gave them the right to live as they do!!!
