Today’s date will certainly go down in history as one of the most hotly vied for midterm races for the House and the Senate that America has seen!

Across our Nation people have already voted early or absentee or in person and the polls are beginning to close across the country. (VIDEO BELOW.)

Shepherd Smith on Fox News messed up BIG TIME with two mistakes which ended in an apology.

During his show, Shepherd covered the midterms in the great State of Texas where Robert Francis O’Rourke (D) is going head to head with Senator Ted Cruz(R).

Shepherd told America TWO TIMES that the polls closed in Texas at 8 p.m Central time.

The only problem was – they do not close at 8 p.m. but rather at 7 p.m. Central time in Texas(VIDEO BELOW.)

Shepherd issues an apology on air after he made an incorrect correction!

The newscaster who has drawn his line in the sand for the Democrats, at first said, “Polls close at 8 Central.”

Then later he said, “here’s a correction. There are two time zones in Texas, Central Time and Mountain Time. Polls close at 8 p.m. local time EVERYWHERE across the State of Texas.’  WRONG SHEP. That is not correct! He is still saying 8 p.m! They close at 7 p.m.

Shep often does not fit in with the Fox News viewers because of his heavy support of the Democrat narrative, so watching him blunder is funny! (VIDEO BELOW.)

It almost looked like Shep was going to cry!

Later Shep said, “There are firsts for everything no matter how old you become. Today, a second correction. I reported earlier something about poll closings in Texas.”

Shep looked like he was going to cry when he said, “Then I reported something else,” gathering his courage he said, “POLLS CLOSE IN TEXAS AT 7 P.M. LOCAL TIME.”

“No matter where you live. If you live in El Paso or Dallas. If you live in Houston or a small town I cannot pronounce. Your polls close this evening at 7 p.m.,” Shep continued!

Shep Smith ended with, “I regret the error – more than you know.” Well, he tried! What do you think of the election Shep boo-boo?  (VIDEO BELOW.)
