Yesterday, on Capitol Hill the feisty and smart Senator from Idaho, Jim Risch nailed the former Obama cyber security guru to the wall, Michael Daniel. And Risch did not back down.
Specifically, he had the smug J. Michael Daniel, Cyber Threat Alliance CEO and former special assistant to President Obama 2012-2017, confirming to a STAND DOWN ORDER by Susan Rice on the Russia meddling! (VIDEO BELOW.)
During the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence hearing yesterday, Risch begins the fact-finding mission from August of 2016. Furthermore, Senator Risch cites an article where Michael Daniel says, “we’ve been told to stand down.”
The Idaho Senator tells a tale of the reaction of Daniel B. Prieto III, former Director of Cyber Security and Technology and a member on Daniel’s team. This is the recited detail of what happened after the stand down order:
Prieto says, “I was incredulous and in disbelief. It took me a moment to process. In my head, I was like, did I hear that correctly? Then Prieto asked, “Why in the hell are we standing down? Michael – can you help us understand?”
Additionally, Risch asks Daniels exactly what happened? And Daniels confirms, “So, that is an accurate rendering of the staff meeting.” (VIDEO BELOW.)
Then Risch asks Daniels, “You were told to stand down, is that correct?” And, Daniels replies, “Those actions were put on the back burner, yes. That was not the focus of our activity during that time period.”
Furthermore, it is confirmed that “Rice’s order to Daniel was first reported in “Russian Roulette,” a book published in March that details Russia’s meddling in the election,” as reported by The Daily Caller.
Moreover, it is confirmed that Susan Rice told the Obama cyber security director to stand down. Daniel’s admitted he was told to stop looking into the Russian involvement in the 2016 election.
