Nikki Haley RIPS Politically-Laced Grammy Awards

Last night marked the 60th Grammy awards and it was nothing short of another politically-laced awards show, where celebrities and even Hillary Clinton used the show to attack President Trump.

Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Cher, Snoop Dogg, Cardi B, John Legend, DJ Khaled and others read excerpts from Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.” And it was cringe-worthy to see unfold, especially for Americans who hoped to escape the political atmosphere by watching a show that was supposed to revolve around music. Nikki Haley happened to be watching the awards and couldn’t help to call out everyone involved in the pathetic stunt. Scroll Down To See Video Of The Stunt

Nikki Haley took to Twitter to voice her frustration with what she saw unfold at the Grammy’s.

Haley said:

“I have always loved the Grammys but to have artists read the Fire and Fury book killed it. Don’t ruin great music with trash. Some of us love music without the politics thrown in it.”

After seeing what happened at the Grammy’s it’s hard not to agree with Haley. We can’t go through an awards show without celebrities making political statements directed towards our President.

As Haley suggested, perhaps celebrities should stick to what made them famous and button it up on politics. Afterall, Hollywood box office sales should be a clear indicator that Americans are fed up with it. You can read more about that HERE.

If you were hoping the political climate would simmer down in 2018, the Grammy’s should give you every reason not to hold your breath for it to happen. Here is video of the skit from the Grammy Awards:
