Leave it to the Washington Post! The third ringmaster of the three ring circus of the leftist fake media sham! CNN and NYT are the other two! If one says it…they ALL three report it! This is GREAT! Bernie Sanders flip flops AGAIN on tax reform!
Jake Tapper of CNN was interviewing Bernie last week. Tapper asked him, “Next year, 91% of middle income Americans will receive a tax cut. Isn’t that a good thing?” And Bernie replied, “Yeah, it is a very good thing. And that’s why we should’ve made the tax cuts for the middle class permanent.” See below.

Now, the Washington Post is reporting that Bernie has flip flopped…AGAIN!
Bernie is using the tired line that the Republican Party is misquoting him! Bernie said “that they have resorted to taking comments I recently made completely out of context.” Which word was taken out of context, Bernie?
Bernie said, “Yeah, it is a very good thing. And that’s why we should’ve made the tax cuts for the middle class permanent.” It is very difficult to take THAT out of context!
Senator Ted Cruz (TX-R) had asked Bernie to join him by making the tax plan permanent for the middle class in January! Click HERE to read more about Cruz’s epic tweet! And now Bernie is trying to back track by saying his VERY CLEAR WORDS are taken out of context!
Group Think In Action: Student’s support Trump’s tax plan when told it’s Bernie Sanders’!
How many of the Democrats will believe Bernie’s flip flop on his flip flop? The answer may lay in this “man on the street” interview.
Stuart Varney of Fox Business News had Cabot Phillips of Campus Reform (www.campusreform.org) on his show. And Varney had clips of Cabot’s video. Cabot interviewed college students at George Washington University about President Trump’s tax plan when they were told it was Bernie Sanders’. The students thought the tax plan was GREAT when they thought it was Bernie’s plan. But when they realized they were liking Trump’s plan, confusion set in.
Cabot said that “it’s a real thing” that student’s are pressured to believe that Trump’s tax reform plan was “evil” and “hateful”. And when the tax reform is believed to be from a liberal candidate, like Bernie, then it’s “compassionate”, “wonderful” and “beautiful”. Watch the video below.
Cabot then said the most hilarious thing…and he is probably spot ON. Varney reiterated, “You read out, line by line, the Trump tax plan…you told them it was the Sanders plan?” And Cabot replied: “I think I could do the same interview on the Hill, talk to Senate Democrats, ask ‘what do you think of Bernie’s plan,’ and get the same answers.”
What do you think? Do you think the Democrats on The Hill would respond the same as the students? If they think it belongs to Bernie, it’s all good, even though it’s the Republican tax reform?
It’s time to lose identity politics in higher education and The Hill. And Cabot Phillips proved it! Drop a line below and let us know what you think of this interesting dynamic!
