Good news came pouring out for Judge Roy Moore Sunday evening as the race for Alabama’s Senate seat reaches the straight-away!
Alabama is set to vote on December 12 and a new poll was just released, which likely has Judge Roy Moore grinning from ear to ear!
According to a new CBS News poll, 71 percent of Alabama Republicans say the allegations against Roy Moore are false, and nearly 90% of those who don’t believe the allegations also strongly feel that Democrats and the media are behind the allegations. But that’s not all that was discovered.
Roy Moore has a 6 digit lead over Democrat Doug Jones among likely voters: 49% to 43.
MOORE IS LEADING JONES!
The poll also shows impact from President Trump is reason for why Alabamians may vote for Moore. 49 percent of Moore voters say their Senate vote is in support of President Trump, and 23 percent of Moore voters say the president’s comments about the Senate race make them more likely to back Moore.
The president has a 57 percent approval rating in the state, while Moore’s approval by his voters sits at a whopping 96 percent approval.
This is terrible news for Doug Jones, who is reported to have millions and millions of campaign donations pouring in and is out-fundraising Roy Moore by a landslide. Democrats desperately need this seat to secure more leverage in the Republican-controlled Senate. You can find the full poll results HERE.
