According to the Pentagon, the Initial U.S. assessment of the North Korean launch was an ICBM, and it traveled about 1,000 km before falling into Sea of Japan, within Japan’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). The pentagon states that “they are working with our inter agency partners on a more detailed assessment of the launch.”
The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) determined the missile launch from North Korea did not pose a threat to North America, our territories or our allies.
“Our commitment to the defense of our allies, including the Republic of Korea and Japan, in the face of these threats, remains ironclad. We remain prepared to defend ourselves and our allies from any attack or provocation,” Pentagon Spokesman Col. Robert Manning stated.
Shortly after the launch occurred, President Trump was in a meeting on Capitol Hill, and he was immediately briefed on the situation. He assured America and our allies we will not tolerate Rocket Man’s games.
The president looked into the camera declaring:
“A missile was launched a little while ago from North Korea. I will only tell you that WE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT! IT IS A SITUATION THAT WE WILL HANDLE.”
With respect to the military, President Trump said “We want our military funded, and WE WANT IT FUNDED NOW! It’s going to be bigger, stronger, better than ever before. We want to get going on that now.”

President Trump is not messing around with Rocket Man. He just completed a historic trip overseas where he warned North Korea and pressured anyone doing bushiness with them.
