Luis Gutierrez officially announced (IL- Dem- Rep) he won’t be running for Senate in 2018. Why is that a big deal?
Well, first of all, he is a Democrat and his party can’t afford the possibility of losing another seat. Secondly, he has been a very vocal voice on immigration reform. Third, he is the head of the Hispanic Caucus. And fourth, but not least, he had also signed on to the Impeach Trump campaign. (H/T Bret Baier Fox News.)
Isn’t it an absolute pleasure to watch the swamp drain itself?! Especially, in the area of Chicago, Illinois, with crime and murder at a sharp swing upward. The reigns will finally be handed to someone else, which could very well be a Republican.
WHO Will Take Luis Gutierrez’s Seat For Illinois In Congress?
Now, Congressman Luis Gutierrez officially announced Tuesday and endorsed Cook County Board Commissioner Jesus “Chuy” Garcia per ABC Chicago. Of course, “Chuy” is a Democrat. After a little investigating, we discovered via Ballotpedia that Dec 4, 2017 is the last day to register to run and there is NO name of Jesus Garcia on the ballot as of today. But there is a Democrat running, by the name of Richard Gonzalez. There is no Republican registered yet, and Ballotpedia noted the following. “A list of candidates will be shown here after an official list is made available.”
Chicago Tribune tweeted the bad news for the Democrats:
“U.S. Rep Luis Gutierrez won’t seek re-election, wants to rebuild Puerto Rico trib.in/2hZyNNw”

This is great news for those who would like to see a stronger Congress who can get things done. In other news “next year, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (FL-R-Rep), the most senior Hispanic female in Congress” is also leaving. And the anti-Trumper/RINO, Jeff Flake (AZ-R-Sen) is also assisting in the self-draining swamp. Neither Ros-Lehtinen or Flake will be seeking re-election in 2018.
Let’s ensure they are ALL replaced with Pro-Trump agenda voters, America! Let’s get out the vote for the Primaries as early as March 2018 for some States and then in November 2018 for the finals! Lets dust off our voter registration cards and do this! Are you planning on voting in the 2018 Congressional races? Leave us a comment below and let us know!
