Ball Issues A WEAK Excuse For Not Thanking Trump, Chris Cuomo Unsure What to Think

When President Trump saved 3 UCLA basketball players from years of jail in China after being caught for shoplifting, one of their fathers, LaVar Ball, had the nerve to bash Trump on ESPN right saving them. Ball replied “Who?” when asked about Trump’s role in the situation and then said “What was he over there for? Don’t tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out.”

Trump, irate that Ball slammed of him after helping his son, replied:

Now that the three basketball players are out of China and saved from years in jail, LaVar Ball, the father of LiAngelo, is unaccepting of what I did for his son and that shoplifting is no big deal. I should have left them in jail!

Ball decided to sit down with CNN’s Chris Cuomo last night to reply back to President Trump’s latest tweet and attempted to explain himself. Ball now claims he would have thanked the President…but therenm are strings attached. Ball told Cuomo in the interview that we included below:

I would’ve said thank you if he would’ve put him on his plane and took him home. … There’s a lot of room on that plane.

Check out this snippet from the interview,

Ball is being even more ridiculous and it appears CNN’s Chris Cuomo, of all people, thinks the same thing. Why can’t Ball accept the fact that President Trump did a good deed and be more respectful? His child had no problem thanking the President, as shown below:

It’s OK to not agree with everything President Trump does, but anyone that saves your child from harm’s way deserves gratitude. What do you think about LaVar Ball’s response to Trump? Comment your thoughts below.

  1. He just received the ungrateful idiot award. Trump’s right – he should have left them in jail, but had he done that, he would have been smeared also.
