Alabama Governer Kay Ivey is NOT taking her cues from the perceived DC Swamp hit job on the Republican Senator nominee – Judge Roy Moore. Oh no! And she plans to vote for him on December 12th!
Governor Kay Ivey stated:
“I will cast my ballot on December the 12th, and I do believe that the nominee of the Party is the one I will vote for. I believe in the Republican party and what we stand for, and most important, we need to have a Republican in the United States Senate to vote on the things like Supreme Court Justices, other appointments that the Senate has to confirm and make major decisions. And so um that’s what I plan to do – is vote for the Republican nominee, Roy Moore.”
Then in Montgomery, Alabama a reporter asked her yesterday, “Governor, are you going to be proud of your vote for Roy Moore?” And the Alabama Governor responded:
“Every Alabamian has a right and duty to vote to determine who their US Senate person is going to be from Alabama, and yes I’m proud to vote, and I hope every Alabamian would be proud to cast their vote.”
Another reporter asked her, “Do you believe any of the women who have brought accusations against Roy Moore?” And she replied with, “I certainly have no reason to disbelieve any of ’em. The timing is a little curious, but at the same time, I have no reason to disbelieve them.”
Watch the video below:
Governor Ivey certainly hit the nail on the head! The Alabama people have a distrust of the folks up in Washington D.C. and this shows it. The Republican seat for Senate to replace Jeff Session’s seems to be safe in the nomination of Judge Roy Moore. The Alabama people seem to be rallying behind Moore despite the Democratic playbook attack on his character. The Alabama GOP supports the Senatorial candidate. Even his wife, Kayla Moore said according to Fox News:
“I have been married to Roy for over 32 years and he was a graduate of West Point… and he has always been an officer and a gentleman….and he will not step down.”
Kayla went on to say per Politico:
“Jones is an “ultra-liberal” former Barack Obama delegate whose support for abortion, gun restrictions and transgender rights pits him “against everything we in Alabama believe and stand for.”
With the grassroots support of the Republican party a recent Fox poll shows Moore is up +58% from November 13th-15th 2017 with 5.5 +/- margin of error. Moore’s odds are looking stronger!
Do you believe the voters of Alabama will show up to vote and vote the Republican nominee in – Judge Roy Moore – for the much needed Senate seat or do you think they will stay home and let the seat go Democratic? Let us know below in comments?
And just for fun watch the video below of the liberals crying!
