Trump Makes Unpredictable Rhetorical 180 After Calling Kim Jong Un ‘Short and Fat’

U.S. President Donald Trump indirectly called North Korean leader Kim Jong Un “fat and short” in a recent tweet after Kim called the President an old “lunatic.” However, the President seemed to have a softer tone when questioned about the North Korean leader at a recent press conference.

President Trump was asked by a reporter in Vietnam if he could ever see himself being friends with leader Kim Jong Un. And Trump delivered a remark that was quite stunning. (Video Below)

Trump said:

“Strange things happen in life. That might be a strange thing to happen but it’s a possibility. If it did happen it could be a good thing I can tell you for North Korea, but it could also be good for a lot of other places and be good for the rest the world.”

Trump then said he doesn’t know if it will happen but “it would be very, very nice if it did.
