The middle east can be confusing and it is convoluted at best. There is a sect called the “Houthi” they are an Iranian backed group. Allegedly, they shot a missile toward a heavily populated area of Saudi Arabia today aimed at the Khaled International Airport.
This is not the first time the Houthi have tried this tactic. Saudi Arabia has reported, “the country has intercepted missiles fired by Houthis several times since March 2015, after rebels captured northern Yemen and ousted the Saudi-backed president from power.” This missile was also shot down with fragments landing away from any population. The missile was aimed at Riyadh Airport and the “Saudi air defense forces” shot it down using an American Anti-Missile System.
President Trump – in his transparency – had this to tell the world:
‘A shot was just taken by Iran, in my opinion, at Saudi Arabia. And our system knocked it down,’ Mr Trump said, referring to the Patriot missile batteries Saudi Arabia has purchased from the US. ‘That’s how good we are. Nobody makes what we make and now we’re selling it all over the world.’
“Iranian state media and officials did not immediately comment on Trump’s remarks.” per Metro UK. Thank you, President Trump for letting us know it is American technology keeping the world safe from terrorism.

If you agree with President Trump acknowledging where the technology came from to shoot the terrorist missile down and if you think it was a message to “Rocket Man” Kim Jong-un, drop a comment below and let us know what you’re thinking about it.
