On September 11, 2012 – 4 American’s were killed, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, in a 13 hour terror attack in Benghazi, Libya. The guilty parties have never been captured until today. Fox News reported “President Trump had approved the mission, which was carried out in coordination with Libya’s internationally recognized government.”
Mustafa al-Imam is on his way D.C. where he will face Federal charges. Fox News was told by officials that al-Imam will not be headed to Guantanamo Bay. He probably should have been captured immediately after the attack and what they did to us. It has taken five years, but justice has finally been served to the murderer.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions reacted per Fox News: “I am grateful to the FBI, our partners in the intelligence community, and the Department of Defense who made this apprehension possible. The United States will continue to investigate and identify all those who were involved in the attack – and we will hold them accountable for their crimes.”
President Trump said: “Our memory is deep and our reach is long, and we will not rest in our efforts to find and bring the perpetrators of the heinous attacks in Benghazi to justice.”
Hopefully, this first capture and arrest will bring some closure and peace to all the families involved.
