CNN aired a “State of The Union” and McConnell was the star of the show! CNN tried everything in the book to get him to say something nasty about our President. But McConnell did NOT cave to their sly ways! THIS is what McConnell said that bodes well for Congress, Tax Reform and most importantly, the American people!
McConnell was asked about Trump’s attacks on him and McConnell with his epic response said:
“I’m not particularly concerned about all of this. I refuse to get diverted off on the various comments that may be made at one time or another.”
As reported by MSN: “Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Sunday brushed off harsh criticism he has received in the past from President Donald Trump and said he trusts Trump as a negotiating partner.”
Then McConnell was asked flatly if he trusted Trump, McConnell responded, “I do.”
All the reporter could say was “OK”! LOL McConnell shut down CNN and says he trusts Trump as a negotiating partner! Wait till you see what else Mitch says! The video is full of information on what the Congress is now doing to help the American people and create a tax cut for the middle class. Shockingly, McConnell continued with:
“…and I don’t think that President Trump has been given enough credit, by the way, for the other things that he has done to get this Country growing again…..President Trump does not get nearly enough credit for the changes that he has brought about that are unrelated to legislation.”
Holy moly! McConnell actually telling CNN that Trump deserves MORE credit! What McConnell was referring to are the changes that President Trump has made administratively to different Boards and Commissions like the FCC (Federal Communications Commission, NLRB (National Labor Relations Board) and the Food and Drug Administration.
