After Senator Grassley’s Grilling, Obama’s Uranium One Deal Is Now Riddled With Questions

Whoa! Sessions was under oath – again – answering to the Judiciary Committee this morning. Senator Chuck Grassley gave Sessions a run for his money on the Uranium One deal! Video Below.

Zero Hedge said “We found out earlier today that the Senate Judiciary Committee has finally decided they’re going to take a look into a shady deal that handed Russia 20% of America’s uranium reserves, was approved by the Obama administration during an ongoing FBI investigation into charges of bribery, extortion and money laundering by the Russian buyer and netted the Clintons millions of dollars in donations and ‘speaking fees.” from The Hill.

Chuck Grassley (R-IA) was on Capitol Hill and he questioned Attorney General Jeff Sessions on the Uranium One Deal which was completed during the Obama Administration. Sessions’ response was that he could not comment on an ongoing investigation.

This is a transcription of what Grassley was grilling Sessions on regarding the Uranium One deal: Video Below

“There’s another issue that I want to address that came up in the news, just yesterday. In June 2015, and again last week, I wrote to the Justice Department about Russia’s acquisition of Uranium One which was approved during the last administration.

That transaction resulted in the Russian’s owning 20% of America’s uranium mining capacity. It turns out, that during the transaction, the justice department had ongoing criminal investigations for bribery, extortion, money laundering, into officials for the Russian company making the purchase.

Russians involved in the conspiracy were reportedly coordinating with high level officials, some close to Vladimir Putin. While all of this was going on, the Clinton Foundation reportedly received millions of dollars from the interested parties in the transaction. Then Secretary Clinton’s State Department was one of the agencies that gave a thumbs up to the takeover.

Somehow, despite all of this, the previous administration approved the transaction. In my letter I asked the agencies involved in approving the transactions if they were aware of the criminal probe and the intelligence operation examining Russian activity. This committee has an obligation to get to the bottom of this issue.

The committee is also waiting for responses to 11 Oversight letters sent to the Justice Department on matters from which the Attorney General is not recuse. There are more letters that haven’t been answered. The letters date back to January 16th. I expect these letters to be answered including those and most importantly those from the previous administration.”

There are so many new questions now surrounding the Obama’s DOJ investigation of the obviously corrupt and controversial uranium deal.

Will the DOJ will take appropriate actions?

Did the Obama Administration make a corrupt deal with the Russians?

Why did Bill Clinton accept a 500k speech while his wife signs off on the deal?

Why did the FBI not make known that they had uncovered the Russian bribery plot before the Obama Administration approved the uranium sale?

Time will tell the answers…we would love to hear what you’re thinking about this! Drop a comment below and let us know!
