Globalist Financier George Soros’s Open Society Foundations has now become the 3rd largest charitable foundation in the world, according to The Guardian.
The Hungarian born billionaire who openly supports and pushes liberal concepts, transferred roughly $18 billion to the foundation. This now makes his lifetime donations to the organization pass the $32 million mark.
According to The Guardian:
Officials from the foundation told the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times that the Hungarian-born investor has increased the pace of donations from the proceeds of his successful hedge fund. The latest combined donations of $18bn represent the bulk of Soros’s estimated fortune of $23bn.
Open Society Foundations was founded in 1979 and has a global mission to “build vibrant and tolerant democracies.” Soros has used this foundation as an engine to help push some of his liberal causes and gain influence.
The only 2 foundations now leading Soros’s Open Society Foundation is the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Wellcome Trust, according to the report.
Soros is known to have financially supported several campaigns of US elected officials on both the Democrat and Republican side, and was a major contributor to Hillary’s failed presidential bid.
Numerous US Republican and Democrat politicians are tied to and have been backed by Soros.
Here is a list of them as provided by Open Secrets:
Soros has also been tied to several recent riots and protests around the US, following the 2016 election. And new reports surfaced that he is tied to the NFL player association, bringing up speculation if he is behind the disgraceful anthem protests that are currently happening.
Time will tell what Soros’s ultimate plan is with Open Society, but many conservatives around the world are nervous what this will all eventually mean and will be watching Soros closely.
