BREAKING: Bowe Bergdahl’s Sentencing Hearing Date Has Been Set

Bowe Bergdahl who left his post and was then captured by the Taliban plead guilty yesterday. He could receive up to life in prison. After he left his post, six American servicemen lost their lives as a result of his desertion. Obama had invited Bergdahl’s parents to the Rose Garden upon his release after 5 years under Taliban imprisonment.

Because Bergdahl had no plea deal with prosecutors, his punishment will be decided by the judge, Army Col. Jeffery R. Nance, at a hearing starting Oct. 23. Click here for more details.
