Maxine Waters took her case for President Trump’s impeachment to MSNBC, hoping to sway Republican viewers of her extreme rationale.
Waters attacked Congress who are, according to her, sitting back and watching Trump “damage” the country and aren’t doing anything about it.
“To watch him just guide us into a possible war and not speak up because they’re concerned about their reelection is not responsible.”
Then Rep. Waters specifically tried to use the segment to convince Republicans in Congress to “walk over to the White House and tell him, ‘Enough is Enough!'” And then she echoed her neverending idea that Trump should be impeached, hoping Republicans would hear her out on her thought process behind it:
“Republicans should step up to the plate and confront the fact that this president appears to be unstable, that he appears to be taking us into war, that he has openly obstructed justice in front of our face.”
“I believe that there really has been collusion, and I do think that Special Counsel Mueller is going to connect those dots. But I think there’s enough now that we all know and we all see and we all understand that we should be moving on impeachment.”
She sealed her case for impeachment by attacking Trump’s stance on one of America’s biggest enemies, Iran.
Here are her statements:
“For him, to have America look as if it wants to undo the deal…He basically is saying he knows better than anybody. But of course, during the campaign, he said he knows more than the generals. He really believes that, and it’s dangerous.”
Here is the video of her interview:
President Trump recently stated that he would not re-certify Obama’s disastrous 2015 Iran Deal after contemplating it with advisors. He plans to weigh out what the best decision is on dealing with Iran in the near future.
Rep. Waters just won’t let the idea of impeachment go and has been saying it ever since President Trump took office. She uses whatever air time she gets to bad mouth our America First President. Just a few days ago she tried to get Ben Carson to bash the President while answering questions about Puerto Rico.
President Trump could literally sneeze in front of Rep. Waters and she would most likely find some way of using that against him in the name of impeachment. Do you think Republicans will listen to her now?
