MAKE YOUR VOICE COUNT! On November 4, 2015 Anheuser-Bush announced, according to ESPN,:
“Bud Light will continue its role as the official beer of the NFL for another six years. The brand’s parent company, Anheuser-Busch InBev, extended its current deal, which is slated to expire at the end of the 2016-17 season, for another six years through the 2022 season. A source with knowledge of the deal puts the value at $250 million a year.”
Anheuser-Bush is in position to pull their advertising with the NFL and Anheuser-Bush asked for your opinion. They won’t know what it is though if you do not call them and tell them!

A Twitter follower had communicated to Anheuser-Busch and received a response back. He posted on Twitter via Reddit. Check out the Beer giant’s response to Mr. Flynn! It’s SO patriotic!
Budweiser in its official response to Mike Flynn Jr. in Politics Journal:
“At Anheuser-Busch, we have a long heritage of supporting the nation’s armed forces, veterans and military dependents. The national anthem is a point of pride for our company and for the 1,100 veterans we employ. We understand your concerns and we will convey them to the NFL,”

Although there is no word of any major sponsor pulling out from the NFL, there was this statement by Anheuser-Busch reported by Fox News:
“The Anheuser-Busch phone line has always been available for consumer inquiries on a variety of topics, but we are not conducting a survey regarding our NFL sponsorship,” Kohan said in a statement.
“We have many long-term sports partnerships, including our NFL sponsorship, and while we may not agree on everything, we still believe in the power of sport to bring people together and overcome their differences.”
Anheuser-Busch purportedly paid $1.5 billion for the right to call Bud Light the NFL’s official beer. The deal is in place through 2022. However, ESPN reported Opens a New Window.
In 2014 that the agreement includes an “out clause” that would allow Anheuser-Busch to terminate the deal if a “league-wide event” harmed the NFL’s reputation.
