Rock and Roll Legend Tom Petty Has Passed Away

Tom Petty’s longtime manager has confirmed reports that rock and roll legend, Tom Petty, has passed away at the age of 66. According to TMZ, Petty was in critical condition after being rushed from the hospital on Sunday evening after going into cardiac arrest and losing brain activity. He was likely pulled off life support just moments ago.

Tom Petty is best known for forming Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and rose into fame in the 1970’s. During his career, Petty created hit song after hit song which includes “Breakdown,” “Free Fallin'” “Mary Jane’s Last Dance,” “Refugee,” and many others known all around the world.

Petty recently completed, what would be his final tour, ending in  Los Angeles, CA. He will be dearly missed by his fans everywhere. Here’s a tribute video dedicated to Tom Petty and his fans:
