Kid Rock made headlines just weeks ago when he tweeted that a campaign website, was real. He hasn’t made an official announcement, but has been flirting with the idea of running for Senate in hopes of un-seating current Michigan Democrat Senator Debbie Stabenow.

Soon after Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, tweeted about his possible run, many have questioned if he’s being for real or if it’s just a classic PR Stunt. Within the last couple weeks, Ritchie has made some BIG moves that signal he is, in fact, being serious.

At a recent show in Michigan, he gave what looked to be a campaign speech behind a podium and all. It was a short speech, but enough to make onlookers speculate his intentions. According to, Rock left the stage and returned to an introduction: “Ladies and Gentlemen. Will you please welcome, the next Senator of the great state of Michigan, Kid Rock.” Then, “Hail to the Chief” played. A graphic on the screen said “Kid Rock ’18 For U.S. Senate.”

And just yesterday, he upped the ante with this BOMBSHELL tweet that’s expected to raise speculation:

Yep, he plans on registering voters at his upcoming Michigan concerts. Another sign he is being serious about running for Senate. The only thing needed now is an official announcement!

This is sure to freak out members of the Democratic Party, as Kid Rock’s popularity in Michigan should benefit him soundly.
