Mike Pence Gives An Emotional Account Of His 9/11 Experience While Speaking With Flight 93 Victims’ Families

It’s said that everyone will remember where they were and what they were doing when news broke that we were under attack on 9/11/2001. Today, Mike Pence described his experience while talking to victims’ families of Flight 93 at the site of the crash in Shanksville, PA.

He was a member of Congress and was on Capital Hill when Flight 93 was headed towards Washington. Watch him describe the experience:

Unreal! Can you imagine experiencing what Pence went through? As he said, he and others were informed the plane was 12 minutes away. Pence went on saying:

“It was the longest 12 minutes of my life, then it turned to 13 minutes, then 14. And then we were informed that the plane had gone down in a field in Pennsylvania.”
